1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting, also store information on your device or read information from it.
In Germany, § 25 of the Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) governs this. Storing or reading information on your device needs your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly asked for. Any processing of personal data that follows is subject to the GDPR.

Storing a setting you chose yourself is strictly necessary to provide the function you asked for and therefore needs no consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
3. Your choices
Since the website stores nothing that needs consent, there is nothing to switch off here.
You can view, block and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. The website works without them.
If we introduce optional technologies such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You will then be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
4. Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever the technologies used on the website change. The date of the last change is at the top.
